Dr. White’s featured in the Evening Post / This Is Bristol

  • Friday’s edition of the Evening Post carried an article about Dr. White’s Almshouse and the upcoming 400th anniversary celebratory events.

Hidden away close to St Mary Redcliffe School is a set of 1960s buildings. If you were casually passing by you could easily miss them. They look so unremarkable, but the story of Dr White’s Charity is a very remarkable slice of Bristol’s heritage.

You can read their article online here.
